Our hypothesis was that different sources of unsaturated fatty acids from oilseeds (sunflower, soybeans, and cottonseed) could alter milk yield, acid profile, the amount yielded in milk. It aimed to evaluate effects lipid on yield composition primiparous Girolando cows. Five cows lactation (35 ± 8 days), with 410 7.15 kg BW were randomly distributed a 5 x Latin square. experimental diets, namely control diet without an additional source four diets sources: cottonseed, sunflower seed, whole soybean, or soybean oil, as source, reach 70 g/kg ethereal extract dry matter basis used. Cottonseed oil addition reduced daily by 15 22%. Oilseed can profile Whole provided greater yields.
